Three-dimensional block models are the most frequently used tool for estimating mineral resources and reserves within a deposit. In open pit mining, basis of mine design long term mining schedule is calculation ultimate limit. The limit with highest profit value. Over years, different algorithms have been developed that enable us to calculate final pit: floating or mobile cone, cone II its corrected forms, III, Korobov algorithm form, Lerchs–Grossmann 2D (dynamic programming), 3D (graph theory). All these advantages disadvantages. method stands out simplicity, speed, easy implementation, even calculating variable slope angle. main drawback this it unable examine all possible combinations. For reason, does not consistently give optimal results, which why has required improvements over time. However, improved methods still some problems. To overcome problems, new called IV will be demonstrated in paper.
